I don’t think you can really tell yet, but it’s important I start documenting now. Since my highest weight in December 2016, I’m down a total of 17 pounds. I know I’ll be ecstatic when another 93 pounds is gone and I want to remember the beginning.

The picture on the left was from my family reunion last summer. I dreaded being photographed and was even more frustrated when I was tagged in the picture on Facebook.

Now, the picture on the right is the first time in 3 years I’ve taken a picture of my outfit and felt comfortable posting it. I didn’t realize it, but for the first time, in a long time, I didn’t hate the way I looked.

This is progress.
